Have You Voted?

Well, have you?

Hope so.

Voting is one of the things we can do to keep this country of ours strong and vital.

Realizing and acting on the knowledge that, regardless of who we voted for, we are all in it together is also a pretty good idea.

Go Forth and Do Likewise.

I have voted. In that free space of states, California.

As the late Molly Ivins said, beloveds, “we are the people who run this country. We are the deciders.”

To reinforce your theme, Molly also said, “Politics is not a picture on a wall or a television sitcom that you can decide you don’t much care for.”

Politics matter.

Darn tootin'

Let's hope we decided well this time. And we can keep deciding well on a daily basis.

I'm reading Christopher Buckley's "No Way to Treat a First Lady". Good stuff. My first dip into his work. Nice to know we have political and social satirists outside of those heroes Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert.

A Bit About Me

I am a writer with a longtime interest in photography. I'm a dad, husband, photographer, and not very good guitarist. My first novel, Boomerang, is available in both paperback and ebook form at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Smashwords.com. As a matter of fact, my second novel, The Baer Boys, can be found at exactly the same places.
